A Change: change is always happening. everyone knows that. be it about simple things, like clothes, height, physical attributes, this blog, or something serious like a break up, a ruined friendship, an earthquake to change the position of our land, change is constant in our world. i've been blogging for several months on this thing i always hate, i always get depressed on, i always remember, and i stop to think, should i even bother to always worry about change? maybe not. i've learned that we have to cope with change. we can't control it. whether we like it or not, it'll happen no matter what. so i've decided to let go of all my anxieties, fears, depression, and many more problems to the side and start on a new beginning. as for silly stuff, i've decided to follow master pepe's rule of no 3 periods in a sentence.

School Events: over the past 2 weeks, rather rare things have happened. first there was this interaction in school. it was a guidance thing which i think wanted for us to get to know our schoolmates and for them to get to know the older people of the school, people they could look up to. haha. anyway, our class (s-c) went to the reco house to visit the grade 1 students of section c. we would have an hour's long of getting to know each other and bonding by folding paper or what the japanese call the art of origami. as you may already know, i hate drawing and all forms of art made by me. hehe. when we get there, i am pleased to get a boy partner. we ask each other our names and he tells me his name is patrick. he's a good kid, full of spunk and enthusiasm for the said event. we start to fold, and i soon fall to my own weakness when i can't fold my own origami, let alone fold his paper. haha. i'd have to get up, go to my classmate, and ask him to fold it for me. lol. what a sad man i am. anyway, i think my partner gets bored at me and starts folding his own version of the origami. when he makes a mistake, he suddenly tears up the paper into bits and i stare in horror at the thing he just did. haha. he gets up, gets another paper from our guidance counselor and we get to work again. at the end of all of it, i was exhausted from paper folding and we then made notes for each other on our papers. we thanked each other for the company and left. it's times like these when i miss being a kid. when you can play outdoors, you have no worries about college or dying, and you definitely don't have love problems. sometimes, i wish i could go back to being a kid and relive my life, only making changes to everything i did wrong before. its nice to dream, isn't it?

one more thing that i want to share with you is the magnificat show we watched 2 weeks ago, a friday. we entered the doors at 1 pm, but before that happened, we had an hour and 15 minutes of lunch to spare. we talked about many things, like the talumpatian that just happened minutes before, and ate a lot. we even talke about the movies we came up with like "noong sariwa pa si lola part 4: mainit sa purgatoryo". hehehe. anyway, as we entered the cpa theater, we were given these answer sheets by dra. vicky bell- oh wait, its vicky honrada. then the show started. i tried to watch it as attentively as possible, seeing as though we paid 100 bucks just to watch it. but then, all of a sudden, my eyes started to water and i started to drift off in space with my thoughts. before i knew it, i was asleep. i kept on trying to wake up and listen, but all of the efforts were short-lived. as i looked around, i see that almost everyone had the same problem, trying to stay awake. haha. but then the highlight of that show was when this kid came out and sang this marian song i think. his voice - uh, you could probably tell what it sounded like if i tell you it caused everyone to wake up. haha. a trick up their sleeve, i guess.

the talumpatian thing in our auditorium was held before the magnificat. now the good thing about it was that it covered most of our classes during the day so it was practically a free day for us. no mama, no papa, and no singer. there of course was a dance, featuring our class. well, they danced pretty well for a group that hadn't rehearsed since they won in the intrams a few weeks back. s-f also danced, but sadly, s-b didnt. they were replaced by ms. ruiz, and ms. rogador, who sang some filipino song on stage. the pleno brothers with their compatriots also had a number, singing stuff. at the end of the short talumpatian, francis won, kim delos santos got 2nd, and misty got 3rd. i still think bea should have had a place in the top 3 though.

as for the contest on the fair shirt, my classmate GLIZA won! congratulations gliza! hehe. your design was fantastic. thanks also for the gonuts donuts! they made me full yesterday. hehehe.

computer time with sir pats was a busy one. we had to finish all these activity sheets while doing this project (combo box demo). there was no time for surfing. hehe. luckily, i got time to review for the test when sirpats failed to include my computer in the teacher control. that gave me a huge break as i got a 10. haha. visual basic is getting to my nerves. i mean, it cant even be put on a site for crying out loud. javascript is better.

club time just keeps getting better - or is it the other way around? haha. anyway, 2 weeks ago, we had the orchestra club meeting at the cpa lobby. the violins were also present, so was mai-mai. well, as usual, she provided the spark for the drummer and we had fun playing it. the rest of the story goes to ian, who had a difficult time playing the um - what do u call them? ah whatever - the percussion instruments. go ian! you can do it! oh yeah! lol. at the 2nd orchestra meeting im going to tell you about, we had our um - let's say off day. the base didn't bring their pieces - or, they had none. yaps wasn't there so they didn't have it. oh well. the clarinets practiced their solo pieces. how come we weren't involved in it? haha. ian was again tortured into playing the triangle, this thing i dont know, and others. as for us s-c flutists, we have a solo piece! haha. bea: remember to set the date you guys will go to my house ok? hehe. maybe next week we could practice our piece here.

our shakespeare's romeo and juliet act 1 op is scheduled for this tuesday. we had taken pictures and recorded our voices previously, but we had to meet again yesterday to make the op shorter than 20 minutes and stuff. it was fun recording, all the bloopers involved. haha. it's fun hanging out with this group, all are cooperative and fun to talk to. we finished recording at 6:30, and we realized that our op lasted only 9 minutes long. rotfl. so much for cutting the lines more to make it shorter. haha.

lastly, we had our first sir lems meeting in 2 months yesterday. we continued that thing - the cover book thingy. well, it was assigned to do at home this weekend, and i'll be finishing it in a few hours time. finally, we meet at the art room again. not at the classroom. although the bad thing about this is, we have to bring both our pe and art things at the same time. greaaatt. oh well. at least its kinda fun in the art room. haha.

At the Mall: the past 2 weeks, ive spent my time with my classmates in the mall during fridays. 2 weeks ago, me, michael, martin, and jebi went to town to watch a movie and eat dinner. we ate dinner and we were going to watch feng shui when jebi said he was going home. so he went home early and guess who we saw - johann. haha. well, apart from meeting him, an utterly good surprise was meeting ogot for the first time since last year. my god he's grown tall. haha. anyway, we met isaw and binky along the way and invited them to the movies but they couldn't make it so us 4 left just watched the movie ourselves. haha. it was fun watching feng shui, and of course, watching ourselves get the hangover effects of it in our homes. haha. no mirror looking here! haha. anyway, yesterday, we met again, this time, without martin. we just went to neutral grounds and we watched as the police gathered up their fire extinguishers gearing up for a battle against a fire at the back of gloria maris, max's, and banana leaf curry. i think it was the church that was on fire. i dont know. we ate dinner at the food court, and watched um - the punisher. it was a good movie but i didn't get to finish it since my mom told me to go home already for she was alone and wanted to go home coz her back was in pain. i just wish we'd have more gimmicks - us boys every friday.

Etcetera: did you guys see pauline's hairdo last thursday? haha. if you did, then i just reminded you of what it looked like. hehe. bea's jokes are great! haha. go bea! those cow jokes really made me laugh. thanks! make more ok? lol. i've decided not to post about my i dont care speech here anymore. lets just move on. last night, as you may have all noticed, an earthquake occured. now what i was doing then was this: i was sitting down on my bed, ready to go to sleep, radio on, looking at the pics of the yearbook when suddenly, my bed starts shaking violently. now just in case you may not know, i am still suffering effects of the movie feng shui. haha. i was thinking that this monster girl was below my bed waiting to gobble me up. see my weird brain at work. lol. now i go out of the bed and realize that the floor is also shaking. suddenly, im dizzy and run to my parents' room. we go out the balcony and see that our pool is overflowing already as if someone just dived in and rocked it all out. haha. then we see our big chandelier swaying massively. whoo. that was a scary night. we listened to the radio for updates and finally i dozed off into sleep after it all stopped.
